This class provides a filter icon for filtering a table. When clicked, it opens a layer where a string filter can be entered.

public FilterIcon(java.awt.Window owner)

Creates a new icon for showing a table filter on click.

Parameters:

owner - The window that contains the icon and the table.

setTable

public void setTable(MidicaTable table)

Sets the table that’s filtered by the filter.

Parameters:

table - Table to be filtered.

setActive

public void setActive(boolean active)

Changes icon and tooltip according to the filter state.

An empty filter icon looks different from an active filter.

Parameters:

active - false, if the filter is empty, otherwise true.

rememberKeyBindingId

Stores key binding related IDs. These IDs are needed to be able to restore the key binding specific part of the tool tip after the basic tool tip has been changed.
